We are a small family kennel of purebred home raised Portuguese Water Dogs & Havanese puppies, Non Shedding, and Hypo-Allergenic pet located in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada.

I met my first Portuguese Water Dog  the summer of 2000 and it was love at first sight. We purchased our first Portuguese Water Dogs puppy, after a long search we found our Maggie. Maggie was our first and holds a special spot in my heart she  has since now been  retired to her new home in Montreal where she lives with Stephen and Maria and Maggie's Granddaughter Tess. Over the years our family of Portuguese Water Dogs  has grown to include  Cacao, Pandi, Willow and the boys, Bubba and Caper. We are expecting a new girl in our star line up, a Brown and white Irish marked from Kortun Kennels .

Our kennel have recently extended our  family breeding program to include the Havanese.  We have Rowdy, Lucy and Dawcee and now Miss Scarlett. We were drawn to this breed due to also being a Non Shedding, and Hypo-Allergenic pet also.

Both of the Portuguese Water Dogs & Havanese are a great family dogs, love people, good with children and other dogs & puppies.

Our kennel does the heath clearances on our Portuguese Water Dogs and Havanese before breeding them such as GM 1 storage testing, DNA, PRA testing for their eyes and OFA certification for hips and elbows and BAER for the Havanese. We socialize our puppies with both children and adults. We also make sure that our puppies are checked by our vet, vaccinated and de-wormed before leaving our home. They are  micro-chipped and registered with the CKC, and can be registered with the AKC on limited registeration.
